         There are a total of  five alphabetical veteran lists in the Congressional Inquiry H.R. 9486 document from pages 390 to 400. The hearings convened March 26, 1936; therefore, I assume the lists were current near this date. I have seen many lists, however, I chose these lists assuming a high degree of accuracy, entered under Congressional rules and it was a published document. This was the first and only time the FBI fingerprint data was ever taken outside of Washington, D.C. If someone understands the theory of the WW-1 serial number composition, I would like to include it here. It may contain a hint as to what part of the country one enlists. It is not the same as mine in WW-II.
The Survivors:
        Two of the five are lists of the Living - Identification positive and tentative. As both lists are of the survivors, I combined both into one group, but since it is a large number but alphabetical, I split it into five separate pages. which follows:
